clear5s some of the most interesting bm ive heard in a long time. that said, valkyrian dawn might also be one of the heaviest tracks ive heard in my life in it's own way. the fact they use 808s fearlessly & effectively genuinely moves this album past any other threshold Favorite track: Valkyrian Dawn.

Ropp The combination of raw and ethereal elements gives this album an unique and very interesting atmosphere. The more you listen to it, the better it gets (specially during the second track). Much recommended. Favorite track: Ecstasy Of Blood.

mâchame Deep and haunting, I didn't know what to expect but I'm not disappointed, the album feels natural while having a lot of different influences. A must have Favorite track: Valkyrian Dawn.

Grimkvnt this tape is currently one of my favorites this year, and that's saying alot considering the amount of new music I listen to. I do hope this album gets a nice red vinyl treatment some day as well. Favorite track: Valkyrian Dawn.

A collaboration between the Finnish producer Crystal Cage and the Texan black metal vocalist SOMNIARE. 'Valkyrian Dawn' draws upon a multitude of influences, including raw bm, doomgaze, dungeon synth and synthwave, but is turned into more than the sum of its parts through focused compositions and fine-tuned productions. The result is an empowered, melodic and raw ambient release, which is both soul-crushingly heavy and serenely uplifting. A fitting allegory for the valkyrie, who descend down to battlefields to decide who among the slain deserve to be carried to an afterlife in Valhalla.

Although late to the game, I am so happy to have arrived here at the Moth Tower. This has become an instant classic in my collection, and a perfect addition to my nights of broody contemplation.
